Skokie’s Fourth Annual Spring Greening is Almost Here!

Skokie’s fourth annual Spring Greening, a community event to promote a sustainable lifestyle, will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Niles North High School, 9800 Lawler Avenue in Skokie.

 

The event includes an indoor fair complete with a trade show highlighting green products and services, sales of repurposed crafts, family-friendly activities, entertainment and more.  A drive-through reuse/recycling drop-off will accept many different types of items, including electronic waste, batteries, ink and toner cartridges, clothing, latex paints and much more. Please note that there are some restrictions on what kinds of items will be accepted.
