Smash-And-Grab Burglars Strike Skokie Best Buy
A stolen car carrying several people crashed through the front door of the Best Buy on Touhy around 3:15 a.m. Thursday, police said.
SKOKIE, IL — Burglars smashed a stolen car into a Skokie electronics store early Thursday, police said. Around 3:17 a.m., police said a silver Toyota crashed into the front doors of the Best Buy at 5425 Touhy Ave.
Police believe multiple people were inside the stolen car, according to the station. The "smash-and-grab" thieves stole a number of unspecified items from the store.
No one was reported to be in custody and police did not provide any description of suspects or additional vehicles that may have been involved.
