Supermodel from Skokie will be in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

Erin Heatherton, a Victoria’s Secret supermodel from Skokie, will appear in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue as it hits newsstands Monday.

Heatherton, 25, told the Chicago Sun-Times Thursday that she “never really thought of doing Sports Illustrated,” but when trying to focus her career on her roots, it turned out to be “a really good place” for her.

“I didn’t know anything about Sports Illustrated or Victoria’s Secret growing up. But then, obviously, I never thought of myself as someone who is sexy,” she said.
