Target to Open in Skokie in 2017
Retail giant announces expansion, including the addition of a store on the corner of Dempster and Bronx next fall.

Skokie, IL - Retail giant Target on Thursday announced plans to open in Skokie next fall.
The new store, to be located on the southwest corner of Dempster Street and Bronx Avenue near the Skokie Swift, is projected to open in the fall of 2017 and be one of the company's new "flexible-format" stores.
According to a news release, Target's flexible-format, customized stores have become a "priority" for the company, with 19 already open and others on the way.

It will take up approximately 33,000 square feet and feature a customized assortment including baby care items, groceries, health and beauty needs and stationary and gift items.
A pharmacy will be included as well.
