Teen Boy Charged With Stealing Bike From Al's Cycle Shop
Skokie police spotted the boy riding one of the stolen bikes in another part of town.

SKOKIE, IL - A 16-year-old Chicago boy faces burglary charges after police in Skokie say he was caught riding a bicycle that was stolen from Al's Cycle Shop on Lincoln Avenue a few days earlier.
Police say the boy - who has been charged with two counts of burglary and referred to Juvenile Court - broke a window and entered the cycle shop at 8118 Lincoln Avenue with an accomplice on Wednesday, Aug. 3 and stole two bicycles.
Two days later, he was spotted by police in another part of town. When stopping him, police determined the bicycle was one of the ones stolen from Al's Cycle Shop.

The boy then admitted to his involvement in both the burglary at Al's and a residential bicycle theft that occurred the same day from a garage in the 7500 block of Keystone Avenue.
