Vehicle Stickers Need to be Bought by End of Month

The deadline to purchase an updated vehicle sticker in Skokie is approaching.

Village of Skokie vehicle stickers must be displayed on windshields by August 31. They are available at Village Hall, 5127 Oakton Street.

All vehicles registered with the Secretary of State to an address within the corporate limits of the Village of Skokie must display a valid Village sticker. A sticker is required even if the vehicle is not physically in Skokie. The address appearing in the Secretary of State’s records for the vehicle is the criterion and the owner of record is responsible for obtaining the sticker.

Passenger vehicle stickers purchased through August 31 are $35. After that, the cost increases to $42.50. Motorcycles, trucks, and other types of vehicles have different licensing fees. Vehicle sticker renewals can also be renewed online at www.skokie.org through August 31.
