Water Main Break Closes Crawford Avenue Lanes

SKOKIE, IL - A water main break on Crawford Avenue in Skokie today has southbound lanes on the street closed.

The main broke in the 7400 block of the street today, according to a village memo. Skokie Public Works Department workers have begun repairs.

Southbound traffic on Crawford Avenue will be detoured west to Keystone Avenue at Birchwood Avenue and back to Crawford at Jarvis Avenue during repairs, which are expected to be completed by the end of the day.
