Woman Found Dead On Edens Expressway In Possible Hit-And-Run
An empty car with its engine running and keys left inside was found on the Old Orchard overpass, state police said.

SKOKIE, IL — After a Hinsdale woman was found dead on the Edens Expressway Thursday in Skokie, state police are looking for witnesses to a possible hit-and-run.
Local police called state police around 10:30 p.m. to report that a dead body had just been found on the southbound lanes of Interstate 94 at Old Orchard Road, according to an Illinois State Police statement.
Marisa Giuliana Moura-Srivatava, 53, was identified as the woman who died by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. The cause and manner of her death have yet to be determined as of Friday afternoon.

According to state police, troopers arrived to discover an empty car parked on the Old Orchard Road overpass above the expressway. The keys had been left inside and the engine was still running, police said.
All lanes of the southbound Edens were closed until about 2 a.m. Friday, according to state police.

Investigators have not identified any witnesses to the incident. State police asked anyone who was travelling through the area who may have information about what happened Thursday night to call state police at 847-294-4400.
