John Ungashick, treasurer of
the Society
and an avid history buff, speaks on June 29th at 10:30 a.m. at the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago, 7574 North Lincoln
Avenue in Skokie. His topic is, “World War I: Miscalculation or Deliberate Act?”
On the day after the 100th anniversary of the assassination of Austrian
archduke Franz Ferdinand, John will discuss the causes and
circumstances of “The Great War,” which historians call the seminal
event of the 20th Century.
