1 Critically Injured In SW Side Hit-And-Run, Image Released Of Vehicle

CHICAGO — Chicago police have released a photo of a vehicle sought in a hit-and-run accident early Monday morning that left a 63-year-old in critical condition on the Southwest Side.

Just after 6 a.m., the driver of a silver Buick SUV struck a person at the intersection of 47th Street and Lavergne Avenue in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood. The vehicle was last seen heading southbound on Laporte Avenue from west 47th Street. Police did not mention the condition of the victim, nor the age or gender.
