Reward Offered In Shooting Of 1-Year Old
Family members say Chase, the young boy shot Thursday night near 99th and Throop, "made your day."

CHICAGO - A 1-year-old boy was shot in the head Thursday evening on the city's South Side. Chicago police responded to the 9900 block of South Throop in the Washington Heights neighborhood at 5:30 p.m. There they found that the boy was a passenger in a car that was parked on a block when someone in another car that pulled up fired shots.
The baby was shot in the head, according to police, and taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park by family members. There were four other people in the car with the young victim, however police did not immediately indicate whether any of them were injured as well.
Police said the 1-year-old will be taken to the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. He was listed in critical condition at Little Company.
