3 Kids Hurt In Dan Ryan Crash With Truck That Spilled Coffee-Mate
A crash on the Dan Ryan Expressway near 59th Street sent four to the hospital and closed the inbound lanes for hours.

CHICAGO, IL - Three children and one adult were injured in a crash that involved a semi-truck on the Dan Ryan Expressway late Thursday night. The crash caused the truck to spill Coffee-mate on the roadway, which caused inbound lanes near 59th Street to close for hours.
The crash involved the semi and a silver Chevrolet that carried the occupants of all who were injured around 11:21 p.m., the Chicago Sun-Times reports. The crash victims were taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, but the injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
One of the children needed extrication and another was in a car seat, according to a WGN report.

Lanes on the inbound Dan Ryan were closed until about 4:30 a.m. Friday. The Illinois State Police are investigating the crash.
