The vehicle the minors were driving — a maroon Nissan Murano — also was connected to a carjacking Sunday night in Forest Park that led to a 42-mile, high-speed chase that went as far as the Indiana Skyway before finally ending in Chicago, authorities said. Forest Park police told Patch that two of the boys taken into custody were 17-years-old and the other was 12.
