Alley Attack Busts Open Briefcase Full Of Cash (Video)
Watch as two men attack and rob a man carrying a briefcase full of cash in an alley near 48th and Ashland.
CHICAGO, IL - A man who was carrying a briefcase that appeared to be filled with cash in a parking lot area off of an alley near 48th and Ashland in Back of the Yards last week was attacked and robbed by two men who are now sought by police.
Chicago police shared a surveillance video showing the attack occur at 11:56 a.m. on Feb. 23. The two men come from the alley to attack the victim, who in a struggle lost possession of a briefcase he was carrying. During the struggle, the briefcase opened and out fell several bills of unknown denominations.
The two attackers are shown fleeing the area with a portion of the money that fell out of the case.
