CHICAGO—Chicago police have released surveillance images of a person of interest sought in last month’s deadly shooting of a CTA employee.
The shooting happened about 4:15 a.m. June 29 in the 9800 block of South State Street, near the CTA Red Line Station in Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood.
Police said the employee, Thomas Kevin Barlow, 57, was found with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced.
Story continues after the photo.
CTA union representatives said Barlow worked as a rail switch operator. He was the apparent victim of an attempted carjacking.
The man police want to talk to was wearing a grey-colored hooded top with a bear claw on the back and dark-colored pants.
