Boy, 3, Accidentally Shot In The Head On The South Side: Reports
UPDATED: The shooting happened late Thursday afternoon, near South Aberdeen and West 62nd streets in the Englewood neighborhood.

CHICAGO, IL — A 3-year-old boy was shot in the head in an apparent accident Thursday on the South Side, according to reports.
According to Chicago police scanner traffic, the shooting happened in the 6200 block of South Aberdeen Street in the Englewood neighborhood, CPD Citywide's Twitter account reports. The shooting, which Chicago police say appears to be an accident, occurred just before 5 p.m. Thursday, March 16, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The toddler was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in critical condition, according to the Tribune.
