Chicago Animal Care And Control Waives Adoption Fees On Saturday
Chicago Animal Care and Control will waive adoption fees for dogs and cats Saturday, June 8, to clear the shelter.
CHICAGO -- Looking for a new best friend? Chicago Animal Care and Control is holding a special adoption event in hopes of clearing the shelter. The shelter will waive all adoption fees to qualified adopters this Saturday, June 8, from noon to 6 p.m.
The animal shelter’s cages are beyond capacity. Forever and foster homes are needed for hundreds of great dogs and cats.
“June is wedding season, and we want to help people make a lifetime commitment to one of our amazing pets at CACC,” the shelter said in a Facebook post. “These are just a few of the lovely animals waiting to meet their life partners.”
