Chinese Restaurant Robbed At Gunpoint (Video)

Two suspects who robbed the South China Kitchen near 79th and Western are clearly visible in a surveillance video released by police.

CHICAGO, IL - The South China Kitchen II restaurant near 79th and Western on Chicago's South Side was robbed at gunpoint earlier this month and police have release a surveillance video that clearly shows the suspects in the robbery. The Chicago Police Department posted the video of the Jan. 5 incident at the restaurant at 7836 S. Western Ave. this week.

The suspects, one wearing a Chicago White Sox hat and the other a Chicago Bulls cap, entered the restaurant at 9:45 p.m. and can be seen taking money from an employee on video. There is no sound, but the suspect in the Bulls cap was shown pointing a handgun at the employee.

Both suspects were wearing dark colored jackets. One was wearing red pants. The other, black pants.

The individuals in the video should be considered armed and dangerous, according to police. Do not approach them. Call 911 instead.
