CTA Release Images Of Man They Say Fired Gun On Train

Mass Transit Detectives ask for the public's help in identifying a man they say fired a gun on the CTA Red Line train.

CHICAGO — Mass Transit detectives have released images of a man they believe fired a gun while riding the CTA Redline train Monday evening.

Just after 6 p.m. at 15 W. 69th St., authorities said a man got into a verbal altercation with two other people when he pulled out a gun and shot a round on the train car.

The suspect is approximately 20 to 40 years ago. Mass Transit detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying him.
