Man Too Drunk To Realize He Was Shot: Police
A gunshot victim who arrived at Roseland Hospital Tuesday morning said he was intoxicated and did not realize he was shot the night before.

CHICAGO, IL - A man who arrived at Roseland Hospital on the city's South Side Tuesday morning said he did not realize he had been shot the night before. Police said the man, a 19-year-old, told authorities he was intoxicated on the West Side of the city the night before "and did not realize he sustained a gunshot wound to the chest til this morning."
The victim was shot in the chest and remained at the hospital Tuesday afternoon in stable condition. Police indicated in a report to media as the incident having occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Monday.
The location of the shooting incident on the West Side was not immediately available.
