Elderly Man Accused of Trying to Sexually Assault Paramedic Helping Him After Car Crash: Cops
The paramedic, 36, was hurt Wednesday when a 72-year-old man allegedly attacked her in the ambulance taking him to the hospital.

CHICAGO, IL — A 72-year-old man was accused of trying to sexually assault a Chicago Fire Department paramedic who was taking him to the hospital after a South Side car crash Wednesday, according to Chicago police.
Roy U. Hall, of the 7700 block of South Calumet Avenue, was charged with aggravated battery of a protected employee and attempted aggravated criminal sexual abuse causing bodily harm in the incident. His bail hearing was scheduled for Friday.
According to police, Hall was being taken by ambulance to Northwestern Memorial Hospital at about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, after suffering injuries from a car accident. While in the ambulance, Hall allegedly "battered and sexually abused" a 36-year-old paramedic.

The paramedic was hurt in the attack, and she was treated at and released from Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.
