CICERO, IL — Cicero residents who experienced flood damage this summer can now apply for assistance and other services that are being offered through the Federal Emergency Management Agency after a recovery center opened at Morton College, town officials announced on Tuesday.

The recovery center opened at the college and is being run by FEMA to provide relief services for flood victims seeking both individual assistance and help through the Small Business Administration if they have not already applied online, officials said.

“The Town of Cicero is coordinating daily with local, state, and federal agencies to make sure our residents receive every possible resource in recovering from this summer’s devastating flooding,” said Town of Cicero President Larry Dominick, who initiated the post-flood response that secured FEMA Disaster Relief approval.
