'Hawk' Harrelson Talking Bobblehead Design Revealed
The Chicago White Sox have unveiled the design of the Ken "Hawk" Harrelson talking bobblehead.

CHICAGO, IL – The Chicago White Sox have released the look of the Ken "Hawk" Harrelson talking bobblehead for 2018, the legendary announcer's final season after a 33-year career in the broadcast booth with the team. The design is a throwback tribute to the time when Harrelson was shown on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1968, the White Sox noted in a statement on Monday.
Harrelson is expected to retire from the White Sox' broadcast booth after the 2018 baseball season and hasn't been an every game play-by-play voice in three years. The look of the bobblehead comes from Harrelson's playing days. In 1968 he was a member of the Boston Red Sox and a teammate of Carl "Yaz" Yastrzemski, player he's been known to reference more than once in a modern day baseball broadcast.
The bobblehead design shows Harrelson in a powder blue suit with the SI description of "the boulevardier of the American League." It's complete with an oversized cream-colored cowboy hat and signature sunglasses.
