Man Physically Attacked, Fatally Stabbed In South Shore Residence

CHICAGO — A 20-year-old man was stabbed to death inside a residential complex early Thursday morning in the South Shore neighborhood.

Chicago police said the man was physically attacked by another man, who produced a weapon and stabbed him before fleeing. The victim’s name has not yet been released.

The man suffered multiple stab wounds and was transported to University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. His name has not been released.

No one is in custody and Area Two detectives are investigating.
