South Side Couple Welcomes First Baby Born In 2026 At Advocate Trinity Hospital
Deangela Davis and Lawrence Noble welcome daughter, Leia Laine Noble, who was born 10:25 a.m. Jan. 1, 2026 at Advocate Trinity Hospital.

CHICAGO — Southsiders Deangela Davis and Lawrence Q. Noble had a special delivery on New Year’s Day.
Baby Leia Laine Noble was the first baby to be born in the new year at Advocate Trinity Hospital. The little girl made her debut at 10:25 a.m., Jan. 1, 2026. Leia is Deangela and Lawrence’s first child. Leia clocked in at 6 pounds, 14.8 ounces, and 19.7 inches long.
“We’re deeply honored by the trust families place in us during life’s most special moments,” Dr. Frank Belmonte said in a news release, senior vice president, Women and Children's service line at Advocate Health. “We are so proud to continuously provide safe, high-quality care to families throughout our community, and welcoming the first baby of the year is always a fun and special milestone for our team.”
