South Side Supermarket Sells Winning $1 Million Illinois Lottery Ticket

Some lucky person got a million-dollar payday in Monday's Lotto Million 1 drawing on a ticket bought at Tony's Fresh Market on Cermak Road.

CHICAGO–Some lucky person got a million-dollar payday after matching all six numbers in the Monday, Sept. 14, Lotto Million 1 drawing. The numbers were 11-15-37-43-45-48. The ticket also won an additional $4 for matching two of six numbers on two other lines of play.

Add Tony’s Fresh Market, 2551 W. Cermak Road, Chicago, to your list of lucky places to buy Illinois Lottery tickets. For selling the winning ticket, Tony’s Fresh Market will receive a $10,000 selling bonus, which is 1 percent of the total prize amount.

The winner has one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery encourages the lucky winner to write their name on the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prize.

So far this year, Illinois Lottery players have claimed over 4 million winning Lotto tickets, with total prizes exceeding $48 million.

Lotto is an Illinois-only game that is played three times a week on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. Tickets for the game can be purchased in-store, online, or on the Illinois Lottery app.
