Woman Seriously Injured In Christmas Day Hit-And-Run, Driver Sought
Chicago police are looking for the driver of a blue Chevy Monte Carlo with temporary Indiana plates that struck a woman in Marquette Park.

CHICAGO — Chicago police are seeking information about a hit-and-run on Christmas Day that left a woman seriously injured in the Marquette Park neighborhood.
Around 4:30 p.m. a 52-year-old woman was crossing the street in the 6900 block of South Western Avenue when she was struck by a blue Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The vehicle had two white racing stripes down the center of the vehicle.
Police believe the vehicle had a temporary Indiana registration license plate affixed to the rear of the vehicle. The driver left the scene before officers arrived.

Anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has information about the hit-and-run crash is asked to call the Major Accident Investigation Unit at 312-745-4521, or submit an anonymous tip to CPDTips.
