Murphy to Wrap-Up September Community Meeting Tour in New Berlin

State Rep. Mike Murphy invites residents to join him for some coffee and a casual discussion in New Berlin on September 25.

(IL House Staff)

State Representative Mike Murphy (R-Springfield) is inviting 99th District residents to join him for some coffee and a casual discussion in New Berlin on September 25. The conversation and coffee is part of a community meeting tour Murphy has been hosting in various communities throughout the district. The upcoming New Berlin event will take place at the New Berlin Village Hall from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

“It’s been a great series of community meetings so far and I’m looking forward to the New Berlin stop as I prepare for the upcoming veto session this fall,” said Murphy. “These meetings help me ensure I’m up to date on what is most important to the different communities in our district and allow me to provide the best possible representation for all our families in the General Assembly.”

Besides a casual legislative discussion, discussion of other state or local issues is welcome, as well as questions or concerns about state programs and assistance. There is no cost to attend and all are welcome. Details below.
