105-Year-Old Former St. Charles Resident Margaret Pace Dies

Born in a home with no electricity and a hand crank for water in the kitchen, Margaret Pace had lived through two world wars, the Great Depression and the Great Recession. She outlived both of her children — and three husbands. She died Monday at age 105, the Kane County Chronicle reported Thursday.
