, St. Charles, IL- Nomad Theatre Company’s Youth Cast triumphantly announces 13 The Musical. This production showcases several talented adolescents from all over the outlying Chicagoland area.
Directed by Tracy Whiteside of St. Charles with musical direction by Adam Huckeby of Lake in the Hills. 13 The Musical is a funny, coming of age musical about discovering that “cool” is sometimes where we least expect it.
Following a move from fast paced New York City to small town Indiana after his parents’ divorce, young Evan Goldman is trying to find a place to fit in and quick! As Evan tries to navigate through the complex social circles of his new school, in hopes of having the best Bar Mitzvah ever, he learns what it means to be a true friend. This incredible production features a rock score from Tony Award- winning composer Jason Robert Brown.

Nomad Theatre Company, sponsored by SELF, is a tuition-based educational program. Appearing around the Fox Valley Area, we produce a wide variety of projects all aimed at building self-esteem and leadership among youth grades 2nd through college. Cast members “create not imitate” by collaborating with the director to develop a unique show based on everyone’s participation and imagination. Everyone plays a part, and no one is ever “just ensemble.”
