2 Businesses Cited For Selling Alcohol To Minors

The Illinois State Police and the St. Charles Police Department ​checked 16 businesses in St. Charles during the recent detail.

ST. CHARLES, IL — Two St. Charles businesses have been cited for selling alcohol to minors following a recent detail in St. Charles.

The Illinois State Police and the St. Charles Police Department checked 16 businesses in St. Charles during the recent detail.

Two businesses, the Evergreen Pub and Grill, at 1400 West Main Street, and SavWay Fine Wine and Spirits, at 2580 E. Main Street, were both cited. Authorities say the businesses sold alcoholic beverages to someone under the age of 16 years old during the detail, according to a news release from the Illinois State Police.
