2 Kids Approached By Man In Suspicious Incident In St. Charles

The St. Charles Police Department is investigating the incident, which happen Thursday afternoon.

ST. CHARLES, IL — The St. Charles Police Department is asking for the public's help as they investigate a report of a suspicious incident that occurred Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 1 p.m. in the 600 block of South 11th Avenue. Two juveniles told police they were outside their home when a man drove up in a black vehicle, according to a news release from the St. Charles Police Department. The man told the children he'd given their parents a ride home last week and asked them to come near his vehicle.

The juveniles refused and the driver then left the area, according to police.
