Students in Ms. Kristen Olsen’s seventh-grade Family and Consumer Science class at Haines Middle School received a big thank you from ConKerr Cancer Support Organization for the donation of 20 pillowcases.
The students learned how to make the pillowcases in class and then applied their newly acquired skill to provide a smile to children who have cancer and are being treated in area hospitals.
