Community Update

The group sponsored a
“Kicks for Cancer” soccer tournament to raise money and awareness for Cal’s
Angels Youth Cancer Foundation.

The event was a huge success as the community of St. Charles
came together to help a great cause and have fun at the same time.  The highlight of the day's festivities was
the 3 on 3 soccer tournament. 

But a contest involving a Fox Valley Volkswagen Beetle
stuffed with an unknown amount of soccer balls had children of all ages
guessing the correct number. 6 year-old Abe Leidig of St. Charles was the
winner with a guess of 58-only two away from the correct total of 60!  The lucky winner went home with a brand new
Apple I-pad 2.

Founded in 2007, Cal’s Angels aims to better the lives of
children facing pediatric cancer by granting wishes, providing financial
assistance to both patients and families and hosting various events such as toy
drives and hospital parties.  The Fox
Valley Auto Group is dedicated to the welfare of the communities in which they
do business and this event is just another example of this commitment.

The Fox Valley Auto Group has Volkswagen dealerships in West
Chicago and Schaumburg, and a Buick/GMC dealership in St. Charles.
