ALE Solutions Brings Holiday Cheer to Grand Opening Celebration
New corporate office in downtown Saint Charles, Ill. officially opens, public officials and business leaders join grand opening festivities.
ALE Solutions brings together its team of employees, and community and business leaders to officially celebrate opening its new corporate office, following the busiest year in the company's 17-year history. An estimated 700 attendees experienced ALE first-hand this month in its 40,000-square-foot, mid-century modern space with comforts of home located at 190 S. First St. in downtown St. Charles, Ill.
"In recent years, we outgrew our downtown space across the street and had to expand to smaller offices scattered throughout the St. Charles area," says Rowena Zimmers, founder and president of ALE Solutions, the nation's leading expert in temporary housing. "It was important to us to keep our team together, so we built this new space. It's amazing to see it come together so beautifully, and now to celebrate all the hard work that went into it and flows out of it."
The move comes during a year that the U.S. experienced the most severe natural disasters – from Hurricanes Harvey and Irma in Texas and Florida to numerous wildfires in California.

ALE Solutions' core business is to care for thousands of homeowners every month throughout the United States. At any given time, at least 10,000 families are under the care of ALE. These homeowners have suffered the personal tragedy of losing the use of their home due to fire, wind, or water damage. Insurance companies rely on ALE to provide their policyholders with temporary housing until their homes are repaired. The nation's largest insurance companies also depend on ALE to regularly provide their adjuster catastrophe teams with housing while they are deployed to disasters throughout the year.
"Bringing all of our teams to one place has enabled us to operate more efficiently," says Christa Landgraf, vice president of ALE.

"We are constantly innovating to provide better solutions and more timely services to our customers," ALE CEO Robert Zimmers notes, "so this move was critical for our continued growth."
Today, ALE employs more than 400 people. The company started from the basement of the Zimmers home in 2001 as a two-person operation. ALE now handles more than 50-percent of the insurance market providing temporary housing for policyholders.
ALE's newly constructed corporate headquarters occupies the top three floors of the four-story building at First & Illinois Streets in downtown St. Charles. The new building is part of the city's First Street Redevelopment project. ALE owns its office space, while retail space has been established on the first floor of the building.
St. Charles Mayor Raymond Rogina, Alderman Maureen Lewis, and Kane Co. Board Member Philip Lewis were among the public officials present at the grand opening event to celebrate. Also mingling were the owners of downtown St. Charles businesses Arcada, Hotel Baker, and Blue Goose Supermarket.
Dan Marshall of Marshall Architects, General Contractor Bob Rasmussen of Midwest Custom Homes, Debby Hill and Tom Johnstone of Key Interiors, and Yamini Hingorani of Yamini Designs respectively were involved with the design, construction and interiors of ALE's new corporate headquarters.
"We are grateful for the hard work of our design and construction team. They delivered beyond our expectations!" Rowena Zimmers adds. "We wanted to pause in this busy season to celebrate the fruits of the labor of so many people now that the expanded ALE team is together under one roof. As a 24/7/365 business, and with our workers spending so much time at the office, it was important to us to have this space feel like home. We are glad now to be in our new home."
