Alexander's Cafe Serves Free Holiday Meal To Lazarus House Guests

ST. CHARLES, IL — Alexander's Cafe in St. Charles will serve a holiday meal to guests from the Lazarus House this weekend. The fourth annual holiday meal for those who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, will begin at 1 p.m. on Dec. 14 and attendees can pick anything from the menu at no charge, Alexander's Cafe co-owner Nick Smith told the Kane County Chronicle.

Spare Wheels will donate its services to transport anyone who needs a ride to Alexander Cafe, the Kane County Chronicle reports. Santa Claus will also be at the restaurant for any kids that stop out and the restaurant will remain open to all guests so all can celebrate the holidays with guests from the Lazarus House, according to the article.
