CAMPTON HILLS, IL — A major intersection in Kane County was shut down Monday after a gas leak was reported near Route 64 and LaFox Road in Campton Hills.

Police closed the intersection in all directions and urged drivers to avoid the area while emergency crews worked to secure the leak, according to ABC 7. Officials advised motorists to seek alternate routes.
