Fox Den Cooking To Celebrate Expansion With Grand Opening

The upcoming event will feature giveaways, class discounts and a look at the business's newly expanded space.

ST. CHARLES, IL — Fox Den Cooking will celebrate the expansion of its downtown St. Charles studio with a grand opening event from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2.

The cooking studio, located at 131 S. First St., recently expanded into the neighboring space at 141 S. First St., adding more cooking stations and equipment to accommodate larger classes and expanded programming, according to the St. Charles Business Alliance.

The additional space also will allow Fox Den Cooking to host more private events, including bridal showers, birthday parties and other small gatherings.

During the grand opening, visitors can enter giveaways and receive discounts on registration for upcoming cooking classes.

Owner Jessica Evans said the expansion was made possible by the support of the St. Charles community.

"We've had so much support from the St. Charles community since we opened and wanted to offer more classes and programming for everyone to enjoy," Evans said in a news release. "Thank you to everyone who has supported us, and we hope to see you on Aug. 2."

The St. Charles Business Alliance said Fox Den Cooking's growth reflects the strength of the city's downtown business community.

"The St. Charles Business Alliance supports all businesses in St. Charles, so to witness any business success is wonderful," Marketing Content Coordinator Nicholas Lowe told Patch. "Fox Den Cooking is a great example of one of the many great establishments that call this city home."

Lowe said the expansion is expected to benefit more than just the cooking studio.

"St. Charles is a destination that attracts visitors from near and far," he said. "Our hope is that individuals experience and support a variety of businesses while they are here, creating opportunities for other local businesses to benefit from visitation."

He added that Fox Den Cooking offers a unique experience in the downtown district.

"There are many incredible businesses in downtown St. Charles, and Fox Den Cooking is no exception," Lowe said. "They offer a fun, interactive way to not only gather with friends and family, but to practice a valuable skill, as well."
