Free-Admission Programs Feature Jeff Hunt, Terry Lynch, Charles Troy

St. Charles, Sept. 8, 2026 – Wednesdays @ One, the popular event series produced by the Norris Cultural Arts Center, returns to the historic Baker Community Center for a seventh annual season of eclectic, free-admission programs sponsored by Colonial Cafe.

The Fall season of events begins September 30 with "St Charles Sings," a presentation by St. Charles Singers founder and music director, Jeff Hunt. It continues on October 28 with a portrayal by Terry Lnch of American Founding Father Ben Franklin in "Designing a New Nation," and concludes on December 2 when theater historian Charles Troy presents the engaging back-stories of "The Secular Songs of Christmas."

Throughout the 2026-27 event season, The Norris will celebrate the centennial of its "home-away-from-home," the Baker Community Center. Since 2020, the Baker Center has hosted the majority of concerts and events produced by The Norris, under an agreement with the St. Charles Park District which manages the historic venue, located at 101 S. Second St. in downtown St. Charles.
