• Geneva boys golf finishes in thrilling fashion at regionals (nctv17.org) — St. Charles North and St. Charles East golfers played key roles at the West Aurora Regional, with several Fighting Saints advancing individually to sectionals despite the team narrowly missing out. Geneva captured both the team title and individual championship in a playoff, while Metea Valley and other area schools also qualified players, setting up a strong local presence at upcoming sectional competition.
• 'Another World' star Mark Mortimer no more (statenews.net) — An obituary posted by Moss-Norris Funeral Home in St. Charles honors actor Mark Mortimer, known for his role on Another World, who died at 59 after cancer. His family remembers him as a veteran, performer, entrepreneur, and devoted husband and father who also co-founded a foundation to expand access to integrative cancer therapies.
