Pride of the Fox Seeks Volunteers for upcoming RiverFest

Pride of the Fox, Inc. is seeking volunteers to help produce the 30th anniversary of RiverFest, June 8-10, 2012, in downtown St. Charles.

This kick-off summer event features three days of non-stop entertainment and activities including FREE entertainment provided by some of Chicagoland’s finest musicians, a car show, first-ever barbeque cook off, sanctioned Dragon Boat races on the Fox River, a 40-ton fantasy sand sculpture, children’s live entertainment stage and much more.

The event is made possible by many hundreds of volunteers who enjoy giving back to their community. Whatever your passion or skill level, volunteers are needed to fill a variety of positions: pre-planning, data entry, general help, greeters, dragon boats, kids’ activities, canine event, family events, ticket sales, and main stage. Hours of service are flexible. Volunteers will receive a gift bag, t-shirt and raffle ticket entries for great prizes.
