Annual Christmas Open House at The Holmstad

Take a trolley ride through the Dickens-themed community, view the life-sized holiday scenes, watch an ice carving and more!

The Holmstad will transform into a page from a Dickens storybook for its annual Christmas Open House on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2-4 p.m. Join the community for what’s become an annual family tradition to ring in the holidays.

Climb aboard a trolley for a ride through the holiday-trimmed campus and view the colorful, life-sized holiday scenes – a great opportunity for a family Christmas photo! Visit Mr. and Mrs. Claus and their favorite elf; stop by our face painting booth for some added holiday cheer; and snack on some tasty Christmas treats. A live nativity will run from 2-3 p.m., and a holiday ice carving will take place from 3-4 p.m.

Be sure to visit our holiday music venues set up throughout campus, where you can listen to the inspiring Breve Handbell Ensemble, the Festive Singers, vocalist/guitarist John Boda and vocalist/guitarist Steve Askins.
