Applications Sought For Electric Christmas Parade
Those wishing to take part in this year's parade have until Nov. 3 to submit their application.

ST. CHARLES, IL — Those hoping to take part in this year's Electric Christmas Parade have until Nov. 3 to fill out and return their application.
The parade will be held on Nov. 25 in downtown St. Charles. City officials have extended the deadline for submitting an application to be part of the juried parade until Friday, Nov. 3, according to a news release from the St. Charles Business Alliance.
The entry form can be found here. All entries must include a completed entry form, a certificate of insurance naming the St. Charles Business Alliance and the city of St. Charles as additional insured and a signed copy of the Electric Christmas parade rules and regulations. Entry fees are $275 for business entries or $25 for non-profits.

All required documents must be returned to the St. Charles Business Alliance at 2 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174, or emailed to info@stcalliance.org on or before November 3.
The two-day holiday homecoming event begins on Friday, November 24, at 5 p.m. with the Lighting of the Lights ceremony. On Saturday, Nov. 25, there will be a free holiday movie showing at Arcada Theatre at 10 a.m.

There will also be visits with Santa beginning at 1 p.m. and will continue every Saturday and Sunday until December 23. All these activities, which are free of charge, lead up to the highlight of the event, the Electric Christmas Parade.
