District 303 schools will be closed Monday, school officials said. All activities before and after classes are also cancelled.
Several other suburban school districts have also cancelled classes on Monday, including: District 304, U-46 in Elgin and District 101 in Batavia.
Some area daycares, libraries, park district facilities and businesses have also announced they’d be opening late or closing for the day.
