Ask Your Folks to Perform Concert at Norris Gallery
Music in the Gallery Series Wraps up First Season on June 28
St. Charles, June 18 - The Norris Cultural Arts Center’s first “Music in the Gallery” season concludes Sunday, June 28, at 3 p.m. with a concert by the up-and-coming trio, Ask Your Folks.
This Chicago-based Appalachian bluegrass and funk trio is comprised of guitar, fiddle and string bass players who began performing together during their freshman year at DePaul University. In 2013 they started playing together as Ask Your Folks. Trained in a variety of styles, each member has brought aspects of favorite genres to the group, resulting in a blend of bluegrass, jazz, Appalachian folk, and funk.
