Back-to-School, Sports Physical and Immunization Clinics Set

Kid Care Medical Partners with The Salvation Army in St. Charles to provide these services.

If your child needs a physical or vaccination for the new school year or to participate in sports, there are some clinics coming up in August and September to help you get it done.


The Salvation Army, 1710 S. 7th Ave., and Kid Care Medical Partners have joined to provide the clinics, the first of which was held in mid-July.

  • 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013

  • 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013

Walk-ins will be accepted until 6 p.m., but it’s smarter to call first to reserve a spot — you can do that by calling 630-599-5480.


According to a flier put out by the The Salvation Army and Kid Care Medical Partners, children will need physicals if they are entering these grades:


  • Early childhood program

  • Kindergarten

  • Sixth grade

  • Ninth grade


  • However, your child also will need one if he/she has not had a physical in the last 12 months.


    Costs are:


    • Free with Medicaid

  • $25 without Medicaid

  • $5 per immunization

  • Tuberculosis (TB), hemoglobin (Hgb) and tead test are $5 each
