BatFest Held This Weekend in Batavia

BatFest has returned and will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 pm. in downtown Batavia.

BatFest will be held in downtown Batavia this Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This year, activities will be held on both sides of the river with downtown trick-or-treating, Main Stage entertainment at the Peg Bond Center, and the first ever Fall Festival hosted at Music Matters at their location on 24 N. Washington.

Here are some of the activities that will be going on at this year’s BatFest:

  • Downtown Trick-or-Treating from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • The final Farmers’ Market of the season
  • Pumpkins! That includes the Pumpkin Roll down Houston St., which is $1 per roll and a bring your own pumpkin seed spitting contest. There will also be a 3D pumpkin carving display and a pumpkin carving battle on the main stage at 1 p.m.
  • Stories and Songs at the Library at 11:15 a.m.
  • Halloween Parade from the Library to the Riverwalk at 11:45 a.m.
  • Tractor Pulled Hay Rides from 12 to 2 p.m.
  • Dance Monster Mash at 11 a.m. and Thriller at 1:45 p.m.
  • Music Matters Fall Festival at 24 N. Washington to include: a petting zoo, train rides, art and crafts, live music and more.
  • Costume Contest on the Main Stage at 12:15 p.m.
