Bike Swap With Indoor Test Track Coming To St. Charles

ST. CHARLES, IL — The Chicago Winter Bike Swap will be taking place next weekend at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles. The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 13.

The bike swap will include many new and used bicycles that will be for sale during the event at the fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road. For those wanting to test a bike out, there will be an 80-foot by 30-foot test ride track.

In addition, there will be food trucks at the site, beer available for purchase from D&G brewing, live music and seminars. Advocacy groups will be on hand to share information relevant to the cycling community, and bike club representatives will provide details about Chicago-area bike rides.

New and used bikes that will be available include hybrid bikes, mountain bikes, triathlon bikes, single-speed bikes, kids bikes and more. You can get more information on what you need to know if you want to swap a bike on the Chicago Winter Bike Swap website.

All attendees and vendors will be required to wear masks. Admission is $5 for adults, if you pay cash, and $5.50 if you pay with a credit card. Children 12 years old and younger are free, and there will be free parking.
