St. Charles Neighborhoods: A Homes for Sale Snapshot

A review of St. Charles neighborhoods number of homes currently for sale, the homes sold, the average sale price and the time to sell the home.

St. Charles neighborhoods vary in size, the age of homes, location and quality of the construction.  What they all share is the same pattern in residential sales:  most activity takes place in the spring.  Most listings occur in March, April and May and peak sales follow in June, July and August.

I thought it might be useful to share a bit of market data by neighborhood from the past 12 months about different subdivisions in St. Charles as we are in the midst of "listing season". The data from these neighborhoods represents approximately 32% of the sales volume in St. Charles so it is by no means complete.

The accompanying pictures in this article show by neighborhood the number of homes currently for sale, the homes sold, the average sale price and the time to sell the home.  I'll simply let the data speak for itself.
