Charlestowne 18 Adds Luxury Recliners, Signs Long-Term Lease
The cozy, over-sized chairs are being added as a part of a multi-million renovation project.
ST. CHARLES, IL – Luxury power recliners, large-format movie screens and a state-of-the-art sound system are among the popular new features being added at Charlestowne 18's theaters as part of multimillion dollar renovation project, the Kane County Chronicle reports. General manager Randy Pollock said the oversized chairs, which include headrests, footrest extenders and cupholders, were among the wish list items moviegoers truly wanted.
The renovations are nearly complete and Classic Cinemas recently signed a long-term lease through 2042 for the space at the Charlestowne Mall, according to the article.
